Another internet stock reports earnings: DoubleClick Inc. (DCLK) 42 1/8 -2 1/6: Internet advertising concern reports a Q1 loss of $0.31 a share, a penny narrower than the $0.32 a share loss expected by analysts. DCLK lost $0.11 in the yr-ago period. Quarterly revenues rose 145.3% to $13 mln. Company said had 60 mln ads per day in March vs 32 per day in December.... Sales up 150%, twice the number of ads per day and they manage to triple their losses. Yeah, I know, their expanding the business - investing for the future - yadda, yadda, yadda. I wonder if they've checked out that new software that can keep your browser from downloading the ads.........
