My point is simple - I don't think MS will spend $600MM promoting Win98. I do think people will buy it.

Re-read my post. Jeez guys.... I've owned MSFT for a while.... Do you think I'm dying for it to top out so I have to sell and get creamed by cap gains?

Now, let's find something interesting to buy and make some other money........ like why is HCOM up? Ooops off thread.....

I think you are right but I also think Windows 98 my also get an upgrade boost from customers seeing the devices that become available due to technologies like USB. Imagine customer x seeing a really cool digital camera that if you have Windows 98 is super easy to install and use. The only catch is that you need Windows 98, it might be a easy sell. Time will tell.
