Juniper and All--Intel quoted in today's Wall St. Journal On Line edition that it plans a "massive ramp-up" to get to .18 micron in 1999:

<snip> In addition, Intel will make a "massive ramp-up" to bring its 0.18 micron process up to speed in 1999, Barrett added. <snip>

SVGI stock did not react to this news. Maybe with all the equipment stocks reporting earnings today, the Wall Street analysts didn't have time to read the Journal this morning.

< It seems
reasonable, but Intel seems like it will make or break SVGL in the coming year given
the huge exposure. Add in a possible Acer order to come, and AMAT's appetite to
acquire a lithography division.>

AMAT seems to really be a natural... really suprised they havent made a move on em.
