Is LG268 a TZD? Thanks for the ABC news; I would prefer you checked out Cell. Two articles coauthored by Evans on PPAR-y. A minireview of the articles as well by Bruce Spiegelman who coauthored this paper. jci.org I read about LG100153 in another paper. It appeared in a table labeled Relative affinities of Retinoids for each receptor (all 6 RAR/RXR receptors) It said it was RXRalpha,beta, gamma agonist. Its binding affinity for RAR-a was >10,000 vs. 9-cis at 7 and ATRA at 15.

Jennifer Joseph is just another reporter who has her hed up her ass. In her slanted big government view, she expects that congress is the cure for the evils that plaque us. How much have we spent on the war against cancer and just how well has that money been used to help cancer patients? When you look closely, not much bang for the billions spent. We have progressed and we are better off than we were years ago, but it irks me that this reported has it ingrained in her socialistic head that the government is that answer for everything. And it's unfortunate that about 70 percent of journalists, if not more, believe this. Maybe the gov should just buy up all the biopharmas and have the politicos decide what diseases to conquer. I also love the analogies that they use. Jumbo jets crashing, sinks sinking. Here's some she can add: How many Pol Pot's does it take massacre the number of people who die of cancer every year? How many Nazi Concentration camp ovens would we need light up to get rid of XXXX number of cancer patients that died this year? How many Ted Kaczinski's would we need to clone to blow up the same number of cancer patients that die every year? Jenifer Joseph should learn how to report the facts instead of giviing us her take on things. Big Gov is alive and well and according to some quoted in the article you posted, you're just going to have to pay more of what you earn so the government can save us from all that ails us.
