squetch,

What about MOGN? I know you can't cry about it b/c as shareholder you have had your tearducts removed. If V1's take on the PII is correct, what is going to drive it up more. Already did their earnings and a Euro deal won't be til after this PII data, right?? Chart looks like it could go from 7-8 for awhile. Strictly a trade I'm suggesting.

I think you are right that there won't be much formal news from them over the next 2-3 months. However, the company is fairly talkative, and so if Salagen sales are good, they may well say so. There is also the possibility of news on what their target tumors are and what the MTD in non-wasted subjects is. (I wonder where they get Phase 1 candidates that haven't already been through the chemo wringer?) Finally, there is some chance that an institution might suddenly get interested - institutional ownership is pretty small right now.

Personally, I sold around 15% of my holdings at a little over 7 1/2. I only did so because the combination of the stock's rise, its overweight in my portfolio and its volatility meant that its moves seemed to be swamping everything else in my portfolio. (Which of course turned out to be a Good Thing, but still made me nervous).

Bottom line: Trading some fraction of the holding isn't crazy. I wouldn't do it personally, if only because my trading attempts usually don't seem to work out.
