Daren,

Your post is excellent. I concur with your thoughts 100%. Thank you for expressing them so eloquently.

I think Luk's post was basically an editorial about his feelings, certainly nothing more than a needless continuation of what has gone on here recently.

I'm happy to respond to members who ask specific questions about the product topic of interest, and I also enjoy the many good answers I've seen here recently to various questions. Like you, however, I know many people who have switched recently from either A.B. Watley or M.B. Trading to CyBerTrader. But I know no one who has gone the opposite direction.

Raleigh Baughman's comments were especially interesting, and I have also enjoyed some of the recent controversy, if one can call it that.

I hope this thread eventually evolves from a mere popularity contest between two or three brokers and becomes more technical/feature oriented.

WD

Darren

The sense I've been getting is depending on which thread you're on ( Cyber....MBT....Executioner) their SW is the best thing since sliced bread. What I need is some objective comparisons of the various trading products out there. Kind of a traders Consumers Reports.. Do you know of a SI thread like that?

I am glad you concurred with me on how bad cybertrader's charting is. Your style of trading might be different from others. Some people reliable heavily on charts.

I guess you know by now that I got my info from an experienced trader who was in Bloc Trading office, using Cybertrader. Guess what, he has moved to MB Trading and is now making a lot of money. It was him who talked me out of going with Cybertrader.

MB trading for the recent months, has taken on many traders. 300-400, perhaps. I have yet to heard any complaints about MB trading from anyone. I doubt if any MB traders has moved to Cybertrader.

Before anymore misinformation is spread, I'd like to post what I found out from talking to people: The data feed is not free as originally posted here, which hasn't been corrected by a responsible person. It's $300 a month. ($199 at MB trading, free after 50 tickets). And commission is certainly more expensive at Cybertrader than MB trading. Also, the short list at MB trading is extensive, and there is no way Cybercorp can match that. MBtrading has Chicago project, a neat feature. What I would like to find out from people who used Cybertrader is: Which features of the software do you find useful, and in what way, and is it something exclusive of Cybertrader that others do't have ?

As ar as accusing someone as "not really a woman", you might need more proofs then just an accusation. I mean some people here so are readily calling others as ignorant, fools, jerks etc, eveytime others post a different view. Such people do not deserve my time replying to. And I am not sure if they are "really men", either. Just some fake names and profiles that sound extraordinary, perhaps.
