HELLO JANE ! Just saw your post - Happened to buy 8,000 shares today at 2 7/16 of QDEK. Quarterdeck traded as high as 32 1/2 back on 12/95, but when Windows 95 came out, their "Clean sweep" program became obsolete. After several shareholder law suits, the company has gotten back on track and with a new "space saver" program for PC users has just been upgraded to a strong buy with a price target of 20 - 25 over the next 2 years. QDEK sells their software program over the internet and you know what kind of circus that could create. about 30 million shares traded today. As a pure evaluation play I wouldn't suggest buying the stock, but as a possible "quick" pop on the internet hype - why not ? I did (Still can't beat our baby - DGIV) GOOD LUCK, Jane !
