I'm not hiding behind words here, either. I stand by what I said then. And, frankly, enjoy re-reading the referenced and disputed post. It wasn't one of my better efforts, but it suited the subject. At the time, you found it preposterous that someone might think you a shorter with stock-bashing (or a peppering with "little dark questions"), but in later posts we've learned, haven't we?, that indeed shorting is part of your ammunition. Oh, but we forget that, don't we? In fact, we forget everything. We forget words like "if"... which set up a provisional statement that you could have just dismissed with a casual, "No, that's not my play." We forget that you posted over 20 times on Saturday, fairly sucking what fresh air there was out of this fine, albeit sleepy room. And the posts were-- how do I put this gingerly?--not enlightening in the least. (I know, that's judgmental of me. And who am I judge? I never forget that I am just a human being... and could be very wrong.) We forget you don't even have a position in this stock, yet are setting yourself up here like some kind of grand poobah. We forget that you've got this little rule about "Diss me and I'll respond," which is one sure-fire way to ensure that much of the thread-space here will be eaten up with more unenlightening back-and-forth. We also forget our manners. This place can be viewed like a room. You come here, as I did some months back, as a stranger. You may want to take a few moments, pause, listen, lurk. Or would that have been too much to ask? I took a few days before I stepped in. Because, unlike, say, you, I was not absolutely certain I had information or insights that would be of any interest at all. So, again, thank you for rousing me from my little afternoon nap. Thanks for quoting me at length... ensuring that everything was put in the satirical context that I tend to frame my posts. You have done me a great service. Some day, I will repay you this kindness. I think. Oh, on second thought, probably not. Finally, after several regulars--and not so regulars-- have stepped forward to address what may be perceived as your insufferability... something that you have not been able to address by yourself... were I you, I might have taken pause. But, I guess that's point isn't it? You don't take pause. And, now, THIS IS MY FINAL POST on this subject. There is nothing you can possibly say that will encourage me to comment. Even were you to quote my entire cyber novella, the sum of my works since carefully stepping out from the shadows into this room... this room that has been very kind to me and many others... and helped us all to profit. (What a blessing this room has been! Think of it: strangers helping strangers make money... by exchanging information, analysis, perspective, humor, and good will.)
