jtechkid, I think they haven't bought back any shares because they think the price is too high.

I'm not short or long MSFT either, but I am short the MSH index, of which MSFT is one of 35 components of.

Split adjusted it has ranged mostly upward from 65 in the beginning of the year (130) to 98 now. Certainly is a big range they had toshoot at. Probably thinking that the cash was better spent elsewhere. Legal Fees, marketing Prmotion for Win98 or who knows.
