Flickerful, Did you catch this quote in one of the articles you posted? "Aware, meanwhile, can license its algorithms to other semiconductor players and was expected to announce just such a deal at the end of last week." This concurs with my notes from the earnings conference call in which Bender said: "We expect that we're going to be entering into other semiconductor royalty relationships on both G.Lite & ADSL-heavy. We are in discussions with a few companies now and we're in discussion with some of our current partner(s) about expanding our relationship. So..." After looking around for the date when that article was published, it was March 13, 1998. techweb.cmp.com
