ESST simply put stinks, while CUBE is the real dog!

It is clear that ESST can't continue as they have. I believe this is the fourth bad quarter in a row. Not coincidently, things started going wrong for them when they took on CUBE and drove the price of VCD chips to price levels where they couldn't make a profit.

ESST mentioned they needed to rethink their video business strategy in China. If they ease up on the price war, CUBE should enjoy at least steady ASP's, which would be a big boost to revenue.

When your competitor is down it is supposed to help you. ESST's bad news should be positive for Cube unless the bad news is sector wide. But ESST's bad news is specific to the company (ie. ESST) only. Boy, oh, boy, I seldom post my comment here. But to say ESST had a bad quarter will bring down Cube's price is the strangest logic I have heard for a long long time...
