<<I don't get point #3. What is the connection. Even the MSFT
thread people don't know what to make of increasing profit/slowing
revs. report. Why should this effect AAPL?>>

For any short term players, institutions control the stock movement.
They have mutual agreement on whisper numbers of Microsoft's
revenue/net. Besides, Microsoft said they expected to increase
revenue by 17% a couple of weeks ago, which all positives have been
factored in. Hence, the outlook of Microsoft's Q3 seems not meet
aggressive estimates. They who dumped Apple's stock today just
assumed that Microsoft's earning will more or less impact tech stocks
as a whole tomorrow. I will not be surprised if Apple's opening price
jumps up (gaps up) from $28 tomorrow.
