While anything is possible, I think it is HIGHLY unlikely that TDFX cooked its books.

I would think that companies that cooks their books do so to "make the numbers" or possibly "better the numbers".

But when the consensus is for $0.24 per share, there is no need to deliver $0.50 per share. That would be BURNING the books :)
