Jadrew,

You said, "...I would question your statement that the negative responses are the the result of "Cyber Intellectuals" with "little else going on with their lives".

What I said was, "Of course, we also have to understand a few, a very few of those who make negative postings have little else going on in their lives than to spend time trying to improve their self image as cyber intellectuals."

I was not speaking of anyone in particular, nor did I intend to limit that statement to the SUF thread on this forum. And, please recall, I said, "...a very few..." The purpose of that observation, in general, was to share it with those who may be new to these forums. Newcomers need also be aware that some formerly useful threads have degenerated into implements of short selling "artists," and unconstructive debate revolving around personality conflicts (or should I say, "disorders."). Seems such is the consequence of companies gaining higher profiles along with recent shareholder frustrations over contentious developments. On the forums, such a combination of factors causes weak hands and short sellers to appear in mass greatly increasing the volume of postings. (That's not to say what are otherwise strong hands don't share their concerns.) It's interesting to observe how minor setbacks in a subject company can result in some nearly hysterical postings much akin to "the sky is falling."

This thread has been, and largely remains, one of the most civil and thought provoking on the Web. I check it serval times daily.

...back to lurking mode...
