Thing to keep in mind with the "Biotech Rumor Mill" is that almost all posts are from "anonymous" (you have to override to enter your name).
So it's just more obvious you need to take whatever you read there with grains of salt. With SI at least you can review posting histories. FYI Scott

That's really why I asked on this thread. I tend not to believe comments on the how drugs work (or don't work) without a firm scientific article to back it up. There is no published evidence proving formavirsen does NOT work via an antisense mechanism, as far as I can tell, although the poster on the Rumor Mill seems to imply that there is.
