Kenith, <PhD Lumberjack> there is a nice book by Tim Jackson,
"Inside Intel", ISBN 0-525-94141-x, with Chapter 15
devoted personally to P.Engel.
His main contribution was to find the way how
to bake CERDIP for 1k-RAM type 1702 (or whatever).
His inability to find a solution in a timely manner
has cost Intel about $8M in lost profits. See
