Mike: I look at my portfolio and I see stocks that many believe should be 2, 4, or more baggers. Why are they not selling for that today? Well leaving aside the time value of money and discounting, its because of the "if". Take LOR....if G* can get its birds up, if the handsets and airtime are affordable, if people will use C*, etc., then I get my 4-bagger or more.

Dragonfly: don't leave the thread, while I am amazed at the time you have to post, I always find a dissenting opinion is good for keeping everyone honest and grounded. Ooops, thats a bad metaphor for a satellite company.

Finally, did anyone read that DTT Consulting analysis of "internet by satellite" that someone cited a link to a few posts back. While the typos etc made me a little suspicious of their research quality, it seemed very skeptical that much demand for home pc-satellite service would exist because ADSL would clean up. Not much reaction on the thread so I wondered if what others thought.

Readers,

You guys will be the judge. I am pretty tired of arguing with DF. Please go see the GSTRF thread. I give it up from now on. I stand to lose on the longevity of DF's arguing ability.
