O.K., People are confessing and crying today. So here is my tale for today. I watched ASND go down this AM and decided to put some up for sale at $44. Figured I'd trade and take advantage of the $2ish point intra-day swings. Left for the day and just after 3PM EDST ASND was as high as $44 1/8th. So I check with my broker who says we did not get it sold, and can place a protest. This pending sale was on a GTC.

What is the probability that this protest will get settled with a sale?

Is the GTC still active tomorrow if the protest does not settle?

Given the good BARS report should I do something to stop the protest process or the GTC, (kind of late now to do anything - and of course I did not hear back from my broker.) or just wait and see?

Oh, yeah, Here on the west coast I'll be lucky if my broker gets into the office by 8:00 PDST which is 11:00 real time. So what to do? If the sale goes through, my IRA got a 36.965% gain (Thank you SNI and market action to the $32ish - Too bad we lost Gary Korn in that bummer [I see Gary is right behind me in the Sowbug event {Great job "(-8 SowBug 8-)"}])

I am usually listening to CNBC at 5:00 am PDST and roll out of bed about 5:15 am make coffee and eat in front of the computers. The coffee finishes just about the time that I review my account balances and have read what is worth reading on Yahoo. It's SI one screen one, CNBC on screen two and accounting software on screen three. All on a small 3' by 4' desk in the guest room.

That last paragraph identifies what percentage of SI readers:
a) 25% or less
b) greater than 25% and less than 50%
c) greater than 50% and less than 75%
d) greater than 75%
e) all of the above

Rambled enough for this post.

Good luck everyone, Dennis

Sector, thanks for the quite excellent BARS report. Did Paul Johnson write it? I can't remember who is the BARS networking analyst. djane
