Dear Shalom,
How is it that other words are translated that have vowels?

When I see it, for some reason it just reminds me of a cult practice, and if it comes from the OT, then that explains it. You have to understand, SI is the FIRST place I've ever seen it, and I'm not
l9, you know.

YOU know that, don't you Shalom?

:)

Anyway, of course I am curious when I see something pertaining to the Lord I haven't seen before. Why? I'll tell you why, Shalom! Now that you asked. For instance, George Harrison's song, My Sweet Lord, which all of us Jesus Freaks later determined was a song about Jesus and Harrison of course had become QUITE converted from his
aethiest TM tendencies, in which you seek your heart beat as the creator of the universe, or something I never figured out wheUat s, iC
my sat in the heck we were all trying to do when I attempted meditation a la the Mararishi when my best buds were into that for awhile, and there I am singing the song like a hymn and only later do I finnd out My Sweet Lord is Hari Krishna.

That's why.

Many times these things have happened, so I wonder where things come from and what they really mean by the people who started them.

That I've seen also used by some SERIOUS pagan posters, at least one, and I could find it. So, of course I was curious.

Shalom,

><>...Dear Jane, it is believed that the name of God is so sacred..><>

Here is a song written by a friend of mine concerning this:

The Name of God

~Speak the Name of God so solemnly~
~Speak the Name of God in prayer ~
~In a world so full of profanity~
~Speak the Name of God with care~

~EL ELYON THE GOD~OF ISRAEL~
'EL SHAD-DAI THE GOD OF THE MOUNTAIN~
~LORD of HOST and righteous Father
~We glorify the GREAT I AM!!

~HOLY ~~ HOLY~~ HOLY is HIS NAME~~

~Speak the Name of God so solemnly~
~Speak the Name of God in prayer ~
~In a world so full of profanity~
~Speak the Name of God with care~

~~whisper the NAME of GOD~~ in prayer~~~

words by Ken Young

ps- another reason I love this song is that I am a bass and this song has a DRIVING bass lead.
