Got back from Cupertino a few hours ago. I made a few posts to Yahoo regarding the event.

I'll try to point out a few things that shareholders might find interesting that weren't mentioned in Henry Norr's wonderful summary of the event.

Oh off the top of my head Anderson talked about inventory. Specifically he talked about non-G3 inventory. Someone asked if and when we should expect inventory write-down/off for non-G3s. Anderson replied that he doesn't expect the need for any future write-offs since the anticipated depreciation has already been taken into account in their forecast and have allocated the proper reserve. (not exactly in those words...) Anderson again stressed that Apple's inventory management has improved significantly...It has dropped from over 1 billion over a year ago to about $250 million today.
