...for starters:
1. dramatic increase in bankruptcies
2. dramatic rise in suicide
3. increase in unemployment
4. increased lack of confidence in government
5. increased talk of trade frictions between their trading partners with rising animosity towards them (threats of trade war).
6. lowering of credit rating on their ability to borrow money internationally.
7. dramatic decrease in new business start-ups and financial delinquencies of small companies (have you seen the japanese small cap index?)

.....that being said, i am looking soon to buy in assuming they make tax cuts permanent.
