I'm not too familiar with the Pinto problem, but assume it was because of a gas tank in an exposed spot. But keep in mind it wasn't the Pinto that killed people, it was car wrecks, ie driving the car somewhere it shouldn't be driven, like into a tree or something, or from being hit by another car. I'm being a little obtuse I know, but you get the idea. It can be dangerous to hurtle down the road at 50 mph in a steel and tin box.

Anyway I do take your point. Companies can be greedy. But the FDA has to approve every drug, and I'm just saying that if it was pill that killed people quickly, no matter how small the number of deaths, Pfizer would be really really stupid and myopic to go ahead for some quick bucks at the expense of ruining their reputation forever. JMO.

Edit- sorry I have to go, RTI.

I am going to start a rumor about Nemer soon if he doesnt show up and at least post once...

Rumor has it Red abducted him to go on a furniture buying spree. They were last spotten in a Henredon gallery in New Orleans waving a wad of $100 bills and a large caliber handgun.
