Jim and ALL, Article...NEC, Fujitsu, Toshiba, IBM Japan Using Newest Intel Processor in New PCs..

April 22, 1998

Comline Computer Wire: NEC, Fujitsu, Toshiba and IBM Japan, as well as other foreign and domestic PC makers, are beginning to launch new PCs using the Intel's new chip, Celeron and the Intel's newest PentiumII processor (350 MHz and 400 MHz). NEC will be adding the new processor, in both the 350-MHz and 400-MHz versions, to its popular Express5800 series of PC servers, as well as to their MATE and PC98-NX series of PCs. Fujitsu plans on using the new processor in the company's PCs, workstations, and servers, while Toshiba will be adding it to their desktop PCs for digital imaging and complex multimedia management. IBM will be launching new corporate-use desktop PCs, servers, and workstations with the newest processor.

Do you notice a similarity in the chart over the last month to last year from end of may to mid-July. This was the period that preceeded the point that the all time high was made...

As for Paul, he's got something wrong with him. Maybe he's inhaled too much silicon dust or saw dust or something... He's as nearly as intolerant of other opinions as those wierdos in those racist organizations....
