Intuit would be a great "NC" application

Your post is perceptive . Remarkably a while back some posters here wrote about the "Random Walk" concept that news is already in a stock's share price .

When you consider the common backgrounds and self interest of the parties here it is logical to perceive the Intuit news was intended to influence AAPL's 4/22/98 proxy "fair market value" share price .

A close reading of Intuit's announcement leaves open the real possibility their Mac application may become "NC" (no OS) web based .

Jobs hinted that today . Keep this puppy !

I agree that a joint web project would be consistent with Intuit's current interest and with Apple's finding a future direction. The key is that Apple will probably be giving Intuit a lot of free help and a lot of the profits, to buy them off. I just wish Apple had bought them off before they announced dropping Intuit.
