There are wild merger rumors on the yahoo board because 3dfx is meeting with Merry Lynch officials. If we would see a partnership with e.g IBM then the stock probably would jump to 50$ similar to AMD. With such distribtion channels Intel would certainly be no danger. I expect 3dfx to react today or tomorrow somehow on the drop. Maybe they officially announce the Banshee with release date. But anyhow in one week the Intel conference will be forgotten, or does anybody remember the PowerVR discussion two weeks ago? news are getting old very rapidly. I have second hand information that on the Stock exchange in Berlin 3dfx recovered this morning to 28$ from a fall to 24$. But I have no way to prove it since I have no online quote service for Berlin. It is not traded in Frankfurt. Ralph
