Cary from Pilot: CNKT, I would really look this one over carefully.

cbs.marketwatch.com

You need to fill-in the blanks and overwrite the existing symbol.

Plug-in: the symbol, candlesticks, the 200DMA, Bolls, Stoc, RSI, W%. It is interesting to see how the chart looks after the split. I printed the chart as a "keeper" for the ol'reference book.

Maybe, I'll put this one on the watch list since I tend to look intermediate rather than short in time.

Cary, I see the CNTK earnings release as very positive, with some more licensing news coming up....but what do I know? ATPX earnings release is fabulous. They are establishing a commercial
market for their products as opposed to their dependence on military contracts. They beat consensus estimates by a mile, but what do I know?

See ya.

Sergio

Q&A with Antex CEO Vic Esposito

1. I understand the reasoning behind the reverse split proposal. However I do not understand why a set ratio has not been selected. This has left many doubts in shareholders minds. So far, many will vote no because of the uncertainty and the negative connotations of a reverse. I believe it very important to SET the ratio before a shareholder vote. Can you please comment on why a set ratio was not selected ???

Answer: Antex is seeking approval from the shareholders at this time to POSSIBLY reverse split in shares in an effort to gain a listing on the Nasdaq or Amex exchanges. If the shareholders approve the Antex proposal to reverse, the board may still decide NOT to reverse split the shares. If Antex common rises on it own merits to a qualifying price for listing, there will be no reverse split. If shares trade in the $1.50 range, a reverse may be affected by the board but not necessarily. A 1 for 4 would be considered with the price in this range. If the shares are in the .50-.60 range ...... a 1 for 10 would be more likely. This is the reason the board is seeking approval of the range. There is no specific date or common share price at which Antex has determined a split will definitely occur if ever. The proposal to reverse is being asked at this time also because Antex is already spending money to publish the annual report and solicit voting on the other issues in the proxy. To do so at a later date would require a second round of voting and cost the company more money.

2. I noticed in the filing that the authorized number of shares in the table was not reduced by the split ratio. Is that an error ?

Answer: That is not an error. Since the board sought approval for the additional shares last year, counsel for the company advised that there was no need to change the number of authorized shares even as a result of a reverse split and that the flexibility will be there just in case. Antex has not issued any additional shares since the larger number of authorized shares was approved last year. Antex has no plan to issue additional shares in a secondary offering after a split. Antex may issue shares for the purpose of acquiring technology or another company if the opportunity presents itself.

3. The filling also shows that Blair representatives own warrants for only 4.4 million common shares. The agreement calls for more than 7 Million shares. Where are the other 2.6 million shares ???? This has created more doubt among shareholders.

Answer: The Blair options have been divided among 4 or 5 entities. The two listed in the filing are listed as a result of their possible % ownership in Antex per SEC rules.

4. Is Antex currently being advised by an Investment Banker regarding this reverse split
????

Answer: Antex is not currently being advised by an Investment Banker of Financial Institution.

5. The general consensus among shareholders seems to be that Antex could achieve a $4 share price on its own merits if the company would just open up and disseminate more information about what is going on. The shareholders feel Antex has a compelling story but isn't properly disseminating the information. Does Antex have a plan for the coming months especially before the vote on the reverse to tell the company "story" ?? I commented that my evaluation led me to believe Antex is worth about $3.50 the stock should trade in that area.

Answer: I feel the same way. Antex should be trading at higher levels. What is it that the shareholders are looking for ???? Antex releases information as quickly as it receives it. The problem we have had is the large news services i.e. Dow Jones, Bloomberg ... won't carry an Antex press release because they are listed on the BB. Dr Esposito relayed the same story to me that he told Leslie the other day regarding the cancellation of an interview by a network. The timing of press releases is purely a matter of when the information is available to Antex.

6. Shareholders are concerned that trial results have not been released for Campy Phase II, H Pylori Phase I and H Influenzae IB and that there may be some problems which are part of the reverse scenario figuring the results are not going to be good. What is the status of these results and when can they be expected ???

Answer: Campy Phase II results should be available during the first half of the year. H Pylori Phase I during the second half of the year. H Influenzae is still in progress and no time frame has been given to him by Pasteur Merioux. Since the trials are double blinded, Antex does not know the results until the clinician reports the trial findings or stops the trials for negative responses. To date, Antex is not aware of any negative problems and trials are ongoing.

7. Will Antex start clinical trials for Shigella, Moraxella or Chlamydia this year ???

Answer: Antex is continuing their preclinical studies of these vaccine candidates. Cannot give timing on these starting trials but Antex is doing all the necessary preparations to move towards trials.

8. What is the company doing with regard to the animal vaccine program previously mentioned ie Chicken Campy and H pylori for cats ????

Answer: Antex is particularly interested in the prospects for the Chicken Campylobacter. Antex is not currently heavily pursuing this area as yet.

9. Is Antex working on any new licensing or alliances ???

Answer: Antex is always seeking acquisition of new technologies. Antex is also seeking new additional alliance partners.

10. Antex will be receiving $3 million in funding from SKB this year + expenses. I know there are milestones payments included in the agreement but they are not available in the company filings. What upcoming milestone payments may be received by Antex ???

Answer: Yes Antex will receive $3 million plus expenses related to trials. The agreement with SKB provides for a milestone payment upon completion of current trials.

11. The addition of Dr Ellingsworth seems to indicate he will take over most of the day to day administration of the R&D program. The consensus is that this will free up some of your time for other things like developing alliances and increasing institutional exposure among other things. Can you comment on this ????

Answer: Yes the addition of Larry will free up some of my time to seek alliances, acquisitions and more immediately, work on the reverse split situation. I have been and will be making more visits with financial institutions and interviewing with various media.

12. Many are not aware of the company association with Spectrum. Is Spectrum still working with Antex or is the company going in another direction with PR ????

Answer: Spectrum still works with Antex. They are not under contract to Antex but provide services on an "as needed" basis. Spectrum is directly responsible for the CNN news piece, article in the NY Times and Baltimore Business Journal and the canceled business network interview.

13. What message would you like to pass on to all Antex shareholders ????

Answer: At this time I'd like all shareholders to understand the moves being made by Antex are all made with regard to increasing shareholder value and are in the shareholders best interest. Antex hopes that all shareholders will have faith in management and the direction they are taking the company.

Note: These comments are not verbatim but reflect the information provided by Dr Esposito. There were some more questions and comments back and forth ... none of which were important to the content here. I spend a good 20 minutes on the phone with Dr Esposito and Terry. At the end, he stated that some of the internet chat my actually be very detrimental to what the company is trying to do. Specifically mentioned the SEC filings on Edgar and the company not being able to comment for 15 days per SEC rules. That's the reason the press release was later than the filing. He has received calls from several shareholders ..... some for the reverse .... others against. He said some callers (shareholders and prospective shareholders interested in the company ) were upset after reading about the reverse on the internet and some of the comments being made by some supposed shareholders of the company. These types of things make it more difficult for him to effectively present Antex to prospective shareholders. He hopes that everyone can view the company objectively and with an understanding that everything Antex does is with respect to the shareholders' best interest.
