Annual meeting is this Friday, May 8, 1998. Is anyone going? If so,
a report back to this thread would be appreciated. According to the
annual report, the meeting will be at 2:00 pm, Boston time, at the
Cape Codder Hotel, Route 132, Hyannis, Massachusetts.

Past financial history of XLSW is interesting. This is gleaned out
of the annual report and other sources:

FY Net
(ends last Revenues Income Y-O-Y Diluted Y-O-Y
wk of yr) (,000s) (,000s) Increase EPS Increase

1993 10,033 1,396 .05
1994 20,723 4,190 200% .13 160%
1995 36,161 5,411 29% .17 31%
1996 62,050 7,901 46% .24 41%
IPO 11/97
1997 88,727 18,616 136% .54 125%

1998 IBES estimate .63
1999 estimate .83

1Q/1998 25,600 5,400 .14

Friday's closing stock price of 21 1/4 gives a 1997 p/e of 39.3, and
forward looking p/e's of 33.7 for 1998 and 25.6 for 1999. Based on
1Q revenue and net income growth this year, I suspect the the '98
and '99 estimates may be mite low.

Anyway, XLSW seems slightly more compelling than one of those
internet stocks that will not turn a profit for several years, if
ever.
