<There is an investor conference sponsored by Fidelity this coming Saturday in Boston. The sessions are mainly for beginners but attending last year's was extremely useful in getting a big picture for what the professional money managers, gurus, etc. as well as the little guys are thinking.>

That should be some love fest. People with 100% stock allocations asking the pros what to do if they only get 15% return on their portfolio paid for with cash advances from credit cards charging 18%. They'll be people who don't know the difference between a bond and stock asking about how to become a day trader.

True story, my Mother-In Law bought Disney and Martin Marietta about two years ago and has doubled her money. I asked her why Martin Marietta and she said she liked the name. Me I've got $ 96, LEAP Puts that will probally expire worthless the day before the market goes down 9,000 points, Gold Coins that will be confiscated by the US govt. And Bald Man, Taxi, Crawford and yourself fighting my cats for tuna in my bear shelter. Life don't get much better than that.
