Yeah, that was quite amusing - TRAC's CEO trying to explain why he is selling and still claiming his stock is a buy. It's beginning to look like the insiders at these companies look around and see everyone else cashing in and figure "hey, all we have to do is put out a press release about our new Web site and I can cash in some of my stock at an amazing price." They can't even make a good case that it will be positive for their business. Kaminski asked the guy from TRAC why he should keep paying huge fees for the institutional service if the same data was going to be available over the Web, suggesting that pricing for existing services would have to collapse. The answer? Reliability and speed - if it took an extra five seconds to get the data, he could lose millions on the trade. Well there you go, time to buy the stock.
