It's tough to ignore the banner ads when they're all over the screen and you only have about 15% useful space. Plus the wasted transfer time.

I agree that "banner ads are probably on the way -- something to accept and ignore" Let's face it. If the internet companies want to stay alive financially, we are all going to have to get used to the commercial space competing with what until now has been a private space.
