Dennis, It's an interesting thought. But it assumes that people place a high premium on the latest 24 hours of discussion. This may be true for certain speculators and day-traders, but most longer term investors really don't care about the kind of momentary cheerleading that goes on on most threads. The real value of SI for them is their ability to search and sift the database for the best ideas from the brightest minds, not the latest hoopla or the urge to "chat". SC
