Article from TheStreet.com on Ascend vs. Cisco: thestreet.com (You can join for two weeks free if you're not a member) The article discusses ATM, suggests Cisco MAY have lost maketshare, but ASND's wins MAY be due to market growth. Does not discuss access, where ASND is losing marketshare. Mike

James, You didn't say it...I agree, but you did imply it with this comment after the posted article... Simple solution, ASND As for ASND taking business away from Cisco, this market is a tug of war - no doubt. Cisco will win some and will lose some. I'd like to note however that ASND beat Cisco to market with thier latest and greatest ATM switch...Cisco/Strm hasn't spun the StrataCom product line for what...two years?. Seems to me that something must be coming soon...and it should change the rules a bit. But, one question, if you have no position in either why are you posting comments that cry for a response or at a minimum a modicum of defense? Gary
