I am not sure that the valuations are so insane. Commerce on the net is doubling every 60 days and the number of people on the net has doubled in the last year; 60 million, though I don't know how they came up with that number. ( Info is from an article in the Seattle Post Intelligencer) Who knows how long that can continue, but I dare say it can go on for several years at a very high rate. Some day the web will be integrated into every house. Where's the cheapest hammer at one of the near by hardware stores? Go to the web. It maybe only 4bb by the year 2000, but just imagine what it will be in 2005.

The net is going to be bigger and more tightly bound to peoples lives than we can imagine.

White shoes, well its tough to think of myself as anything less than 33 million. Seems like I must be worth that much myself,I wonder how much the other SI posters are worth?
No, I would never sell GNET short,it would be like selling my grandmother to a chain gang. On the same vein,we are only as good as our weakest link, lets find him,and banish him to the Excite chat areas.
Hiram-my home has been sold.
