Mel V.,

Your letter to UVD is well stated. I also think they show a low price and compare it to the peak price is very, very misleading. They should given the price when recommended and the current price or stated price when one would have actually been able to leave.

I have benefited from their recommendation of FAMH when I was already a shareholder but I think other information of theirs I have seen is very misleading.

later and long on FAMH, Leroyt

The Undervalued Dog does not focus on momentum plays...but more for the longer term, just like us. But I agree to your point, that they should post the current gain/loss, just like us.

(OFF TOPIC) Mel,
I have to agree with you concerning the accuracy of the returns boasted by "The Dog", but they do get lucky once in a while. I never heard of them until today. I caught wind of them because today they picked a stock I've owned since last August or so. Use them as a DD starting point, but remember they're NO BETTER AT PICKING STOCKS THAN SOME OF THE FAMH THREAD PARTICIPANTS. Hey, I appreciate the boost they'll give my stock, but I HATE THE IDEA THAT THEY ARE MOST LIKELY SELF-SERVING. I think I'll trust the "free advice" I get on the thread (after I check it out) before a newsletter that distorts returns. If they were that great at stock picking, they could give the newsletter away for free. All IMHO of course.
Watch out for the lure and MAKE SURE IT'S THE REAL THING!!
