MSFT and pundits said Win 98 rev will be 0.5 B in 98 for it doesn't offer a compelling reason for users to upgrade from Win 97. If you use Win 95 & Internet Explorer, it's almost equiv. to Win 98. Win 98 offers USB device support. But currently, few USB devices are available. NT 5.0 won't be shipped until June 99. Thus, there is no flagship product to grow rev. Compounding the problem is corporate budget allocating more money to Y2K, Asia weak demand, Europr's seasonal weak demand in summer. I think this time MSFT is not kidding. MSFT could easily drop to the 70's. A DOJ lawsuit could precipitate the fall even more. Take profit now, and buy back at a lower price in the summer.
