Henry: There are as many shares sold as bought....that does not mean there are as many buyers as sellers. If you sell 500 and I sell 500, and Mark buys all 1000, there were two sellers and one buyer. (not including the MM)

Stock Market 101: Thank you Henry for saying what desperately needed to be said here. And to be a little more picky For Every Share bought a Share is Sold. One Seller might actually sell to Several buyers.
Point is it all depends on who speaks up first.

Case 1: I have 10 shares for sale at $10, any buyers? No, okay I have 10 shares for sale at $9 , SOLD

Case 2: I would like to buy 10 shares for $10. Any Sellers? No, okay I will buy 10 shares for $11. SOLD

Market momentum works both ways.

Good Investing, lets hope we see some real news soon,
