this is enough for me to believe for the time being that what we are enduring now, is the same thing we have been enduring since Novemeber..selling, selling, selling and I maintain that most of it is coming from North of the border.

James:

I also believe that there has been considerable selling pressure coming from up North. However, I'm increasingly less convinced that this is the "smoking gun". We have traded over 14 million shares since November when the selling pressure (where ever it's coming from) began, and if my memory serves me (which it doesn't always do) the last posted estimates of converted stock options were at about 3.5 million. Even if we assume that all of those shares were sold (which I doubt) and that there has been some shorting against restricted shares, we're still a long ways away from explaining the price and volume activity over the last few months.

During that time, we have observed, almost daily, unusual trading activity. It seems to me that DCTC is not simply responding to the rules of supply and demand, and the more I have learned about the ways of the world (the trading world, that is), the more I am aware that there are games to play and ways to do it. It may be that this is simply a reality of life, and not much can be done about it. Several individuals have already stated that SEC violations occur routinely in BB stocks, and nobody is really inclined to take any action. But, if there are options to consider, I am eager to explore those.

I guess I'm just making an appeal to expand the discussion a bit. Instead of confining our DD to trying to understand what's going on and why (which I appreciate very much, and acknowledge your tremendous contributions), I would also be very interested to engage in dialogues about "empowering the individual investor" (to use a very current theme).

My concern has to do with the manipulation of DCTC stock, not the company itself. If given the opportunity, I firmly believe that DCI will rise to the top of the heap and pay great rewards. But I would disagree, somewhat, with your assessment that there is no room left to short DCTC. People that make a living shorting small cap stocks are experts, and they are willing to take big risks. And they can literally short a company into the ground before it has a chance to establish a record that will support the stock with investors and institutional buying. I don't know that this is happening, but I do know that this stock is acting differently than any stock I have ever owned. And that makes me wonder.

I apologize for the length. I had no intention of rambling on, but I just got on a roll. Geeez, it's almost my bedtime. <<GG>
