Wow, pirahnas are attacking. Since you asked, I bought Sep options in Feb when they were first offered and added to my position with May contracts prior to earnings announcement. (I sold half the May at about $32) I'm ahead...for now. I've been lurking SI since July '96. Let me clarify my point. I don't think mngmt is inept. I do think they have dropped the ball in responding to the competition and in public relations. I'm a gamer and an engineer and I know what 3DFX is and its potential. When buying the stock I underestimated the impact of their silence and overestimated the public support. Perhaps you'd like to see no opposing viewpoints on this thread?
