The share re-purchase announcement could not have been timed
more perfectly. We would be at 26 today without the news.
I will try to call my friend tonight to get more details
on the Barron's interview and will post again tomorrow.

Dr.
I like CPQ but know little about GTW. Heard a comment that CPQ would hold up better during a market correction then many stocks that have jumped up in price lately. Don't know if that is true, but it makes sense to me. Hmmm, people seem to really be worried about the market being up so much.

U.S. TRADING SUMMARY: U.S. stocks were lower in early afternoon
Thursday, despite spending much of the day in positive territory.
Most stocks fell amid growing concern that valuations are
overinflated and the market has raced too far ahead of corporate
earnings potential, analysts said. At 1:30 p.m. ET, the Dow was
off 11 at 9166, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq composite dropped 25
points to 1892. The S&P500 lost seven to 1123. Advances trailed
declines by a 5-to-2 ratio as 416 million shares traded hands on
the Big Board. "The very best thing that could happen to the stock
market is for the stock market to stop going up. This is just what
the doctor ordered," Hugh Johnson, chief investment officer at
First Albany, said.
