I can't. Neither can you. If you do it's simply luck. Over the long term day-traders and short-term traders are net losers in the stock market. If you could pick stocks that go from 22 to 30 in a month and do it consistently then you would be the wealthiest man in the world.

AMD hasn't "turned around" they just announced a wider than expected loss and they just had to take on another billion in debt. The stock price movement is due to speculation. I'm betting that over the longer term, these speculators will be proven wrong. The only way I will cover my short is if AMD's business actually improves. Somehow I doubt it will.
