I think it will bounce back to the 55 area. Just hang on. Remember DELL reports in a few weeks. We may trend down at the start in the morning -- but it will be bought back up. We can't crater from here.

You should have sold gtw. It's an overpriced joke. As far as getting into CPQ, well, let's just say that unless you think channel stuffing has stopped there (it hasn't) then go ahead. I'm staying far far away from the sector other than holding leap (99) puts on gtw.

People told me Dell was an overpriced joke back in 1990 when it sold for the equiv. of .23 a share.

GTW is getting it's act together. The stock had a nice run this week based on earnings anticipation and a broker upgrade. It may decline somewhat on profit taking, but the basic story looks good. Take projected '98 earnings of what?... $2.15?, compute a PE based on 55 and the ratio is PE ratio is 25. Not out of line.
