Any thoughts on this interesting young Semi-conductor company ?

biz.yahoo.com

I have been watching it for a while, they actually seem to turn a nice profit. Large blocks have been moving in & MM seems to try & keep the price as low as he can.

I'm not too worried about IDTI. The story is pretty much intact. What is hurting is Intel's mouthing that they're going after the sub 1000 market very strongly now. Kinda figured they would. I think it'll lower margins for IDTI some, but there should still be enough to give decent earnings. I'll continue a strategy of writing just out-of-the-money CC's and continuously lowering my basis. That'll take care of any price erosion that I foresee. Yeah, interest rates are always scary, but life's a gamble.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Street starts to see that 0.02 vs. the 0.03 expected really isn't all that bad considering the expenses involved in positioning the company where it is and that it was in the face of declining commodity SRAM prices. Maybe after a few days big scary Intel won't look so scary and little petite IDTI will look more sexy. Hey, it turns me on.

P.S. If Intel lowers margins too much, they'll shoot themselves in the foot. Who needs 1000 Mhz Pentium III processors??? I still can't keep up with my 200Mhz Pentium Pro! All the bad news that can happen will hurt Intel worse than IDTI. Keep the faith.
