Tony, <I got a new PII, with all new peripherals>
<the old 486-50 it took at least an hour to get through
them. With the PII, it took about 10 minutes.>

Yeah, 486-50... And I even was listening and
arguing with you.. What a flop!

You must be either a hypocrite or totally computer-
incompetent to make such a hype of P-II. I bet
you switched from 16MB, ISA/VESA video card,
and a dog-slow Conner, to latest PCI/busmastering
periferals, latest Windows-accelerated video,
tons of SDRAM, and 5X faster hard drive.

<To those that don't believe it, try it.>
Try to get a K6 but more memory for the price
difference, and then talk about speed
differences in "task switching",
"Computer Development Manager" <ggg>

Exactly! I've noticed that those who say Intel isn't the best are:

(1) extremely ignorant
(2) extremely cheap

And let's face it, many on this thread are semi-ignorant.

I work at a top company, and I am impressed that they went for quality, not price, in my recent computer upgrade. Why do something half-ass???????
