WD, TNTO is the four letter designation used by TerraNova Trading for their ECN on the Level II screen. The name of the ECN is Archipelago and it is owned jointly by TerraNova Trading and Townsend Analytics (the people who wrote the Real Tick III program). Townsend wrote the software for the ECN and Terra Nova manages it and serves as the Broker Dealer. Here is a list of the ECNs and their owners: INCA - Instinet Corp. ISLD - Island Josh Levine BTRD - B-Trade Services a division of Bloomberg REDI - Spears, Leads & Kellog Brokerage TNTO - TerraNova Trading and Townsend Analytics ATTN - Harvey Houtkins All-Tech Investments I'm sure there are more ECNs in the works but these are the ones that I know of and that are up and running.
