>but the decision to buy VVUS (and APM and PRX for that matter) was based on the screening I did with Telechart 2000.<

Captain777,

I do most (well 90%) of my decisions by technical anaysis. I use Omega Research's Wall Street Analyst. Most pro's use Metastock I believe. I agree with you on building a picture in one's mind. I also agree that manual charting may build great charting feel and experience in the long run. I don't have much time for that, however I try to generate charts of a select group (about 40 stocks) consistently to get a feel.

Lately I sidelined fundamental analysis. I used to utilize screening. Nothing fee-based though. Are you happy with Telechart2000? Isn't it a charting software? Guess it also screens fundamentals.

If I am not overbearing, may I ask what screen criteria you used when you came up with VVUS? I mean is it low P/E, such and such cap, cash flow etc. etc... How did you narrow down to it?

Finally what does Worden Brothers do? Brokers? Info service?

Thanks for all the info. Much appreciated.
