Kind of funny scanning the headers for first 300 messages. I first posted on this thread on Oct 6, 1996 and Alex had his first post in late Dec, 1996. Alex's first postings were rumors of institutional interest in MPEG and the rumor that Michael Gates, Bill Gates' brother, was an investor :)

Guess things haven't changed that much :)
