I bought SEEK today at 29 3/4 and sold at the close for 28 3/4 for a point loss. I wouldn't trust after hours quotes. ALMI was trading at 6 1/4 in before hours trade and opened down hard core at 5 1/4 and fell right off the planet. I had a market sell order in and praise God that I was filled at 5 1/4 I lost my ass as I had bought it at 6 but just glad it wasn't worse. It went straight down from there.

The street has been punishing these stocks hard today and yesterday and who knows what tomorrow will bring.

I hope everyone makes money and is prosperous. I made a point on SEEK yesterday day trading it so I am even up on SEEK but still having a losing streak.

Everyone prosper and trade wisely.

Later,
Richard

Pakman, in the interest of accuracy, may I amend your post: some of us owe Harry a toast. Please count me among them.

Methinks the sector will rally somewhat, but largely I expect consolidation in a trading range for a while. The engines have chugged uphill and downhill at a breatless clip of late. In fact the entire sector has boxcarred right behind. A pause would be refreshing--or am I anthropomorphizing? No, I'm projecting. I need the rest! Please, no more excitement for a while, Harry!

The Net means growth; SEEK didn't disappoint. No doubt the shorts will once again have their day. But for now, I suspect, their kind of party, such as it is, is over.
