hi bob g. [telescan]

i like telescan. i think it's a very powerful tool. not only do they provide TELESCAN RANKINGS, they also have powerful search engines that allows you to search for your critierias.

however, since im basing my searches/buys on my CSS buy system (which i do in metastock), i have no need for the TELESCAN search engine. However, i believe others might really have a good time with Telescan search engine.

As i stated, i used telescan to check the "fundamentals" and "insider" rankings.. I currently pay $30-$40/mth for access to Telescan. Costly yes, but i think it's well worth it. sometimes, you have to pay for good info.

Another note: I canceled my subscription with THE CHARTIST. good newsletter for long term investors. trading --> there signals aren't that timely. typical trades lasts from 1 month to 1 yr. That is there trading portfolio!! 1 yr trades? come on.

Another note: I'm currently trying DAY TRADER's ONLINE newsletter. Dont like it either.. they are really too short-term trading for me. They are happy with the 2-4% gains. nope. doesn't fit me. I'm looking for the 20%+ gains.

Basically, im always searching for a newsletter to point me to the stocks that might go up. But to be honest, i should just use my CSS SCANS (metastock) and use that.. i think after trying many newsletter trials, i'm finally come to that conclusion.

hope my comments are useful

Bob, i asked Q+ about the release date for V2 today. Here is their response:

Jurgen,
We are anticipating release of QP2 at the beginning of next month.ÿ We will put a note in the market report and at the website.

Quotes Plus

That would be great! The new version seems to have a lot of useful features. The data goes back 6 years or so.
