Have you checked out Yahoo's "detailed Research" page? Just about anything oil service related has a 5 year forecast earnings growth greater than 15% with 25% being the norm.

TDW has a amazing record of surprising to the upside. Since they are buying back shares to the tune of $200 Mil., you don't think they'd stoop to shorting their own stock to make shares available at below $40? I imagine they have a broker that is assigned the task of buying the shares. I wonder if he gets a bonus for achieving a certain goal in the purchase program? Last time around they bought at $45 av. price. Looks like they might be looking for a better deal this time. Don't mind me, I'm only a little paranoid*G*

CXIPY gets another contract:

biz.yahoo.com

Briefing has messed up most of the earnings dates in this sector. If they are wrong, they usually just keep pushing a company to the next day until they get it right. They're lazy, but it's a free sight.

Today I spoke with TDW investor relations, and was told that they would not report until May. I do not know why Zacks has been wrong on several report dates. An interesting snippet from TDW concerned their stock buyback program. Though commissioned to purchase $200 million, I was led to believe that the repurchase program had not yet started and was to occur throughout the ensuing 12 months. Personally I'm glad I traded out of TDW for a small profit, but I'm looking to get back in over the next couple of months. I'm focusing on some land drillers now involved in natural gas. Looking to pick up some more UTI and PTEN. Great outlook for these. Also looking to pick up some more NE and MDCO, and a couple others. I tend to agree with LT, but we need some major event to cause a major market stumble, IMO.
