The congregation itself is autonomous,answering only to God. Its structure is such that men serve as elders and deacons, the music is all accapella,there are paid ministers, who can be elders, but not usually,we have communion on the 1st day of the week, give on the first day as "we have been prospered". We support various missionaries, both in the US and around the world. We support orphan homes, believe in bible class, are more conservative than I would like,and believe that the bible is the literal Word of God, and that He will keep it Holy throughout the ages until Jesus comes again. There, that's a start. (AND I do not want to hear OH YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES WHO THINK YOU ARE THE ONLY ONES GOING TO HEAVEN!!! haha. Btw, there is,IMHO, nothing better than pure voice lifted up to the Father.I love accapella music. dcf
